Jane Plemmons Hollers

Jane Plemmons Hollers, 75, of Asheville, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A native of Buncombe Co., Mrs. Hollers was a daughter of the late Eurel and Bessie Rash Plemmons. A graduate of Leicester High School, Mrs. Hollers retired from the Asheville Fire Department, where she worked as secretary to the Chief. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and was active in the United Methodist Women. She loved to travel, talk and socialize, and loved her church and the people in it. Mrs. Hollers is survived by her husband of 55 years, Glen Wade Hollers, and son, Blaine Hollers. A memorial service for Mrs. Hollers will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor David Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2195 New Leicester Hwy. Asheville, NC 28806 Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
