Dear Vicki, Julie, John,
I was so shocked when I saw Jay’s obituary on F/B this morning. I don’t know what to say, except I am so very sad to hear of his sudden passing and your tragic loss. Since meeting him at WCU with you, Vicki, and spending so much time together those early years – Dale and I – you and Jay, inseparable, I remember many good times together. I remember him always the same quiet, kind, dependable rock of a man, who loved you and his children without question. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and I know he was proud of his family and each of your accomplishments. We pray for God’s grace for you, Julie, John, and those who loved and knew Jay best. I wish we could be there for you, today Vicki, to give you some small comfort. Our hearts are so heavy, and our prayers go up for you all in the days and weeks to follow. Our sincerest condolences…the Anderson’s – Dale, Deborah, Brian, and Lauren
Vicki and Family So sorry to hear about Jay passing. My thoughts are for you and your family. Perry Gasperson
Jay was always so welcoming and kind. I will miss him very much and I am terribly sorry for your loss. I am praying daily for you and yours. Remember that we do not mourn as those who have no hope because we know we will be together again where there are no more tears and no more nights of sorrow. God bless you.
I would like to send my condolences to you for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for your loved ones, but the bible gives us comfort in assuring us that one day sickness, pain and death will no more. (Revelations 21:3-4) The Bible also comforts us in knowing our loved ones are no longer suffering but are in a sleep-like state.(John 11:11-14, 23-26) I hope these scriptures will be encouraging for you and bring you comfort throughout your day.
