Jean F. Keffer, 83, of 327 Dogwood Road, Candler, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Fredins, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Cardie Zimmerman Frantz. Mrs. Keffer was also preceded in death by her husband Warren G. Keffer, who died in 1996.
A beloved mother, grandmother and "Meme" to her great-grandchildren, she is survived by a daughter, Cardie J. Molina and husband Freddy; two sons, Jerry Joe Keffer, Sr. and wife Lee Anne, Robert Allen Keffer and wife Cindy, all of Candler; nine grandchildren, Jerry Joe Keffer, Jr., Warean Sorrells, Tacho Molina, Kasey Keffer, Luke Oglesby, Richard Oglesby, Eddie Molina, Jimmy Oglesby, Julie Oglesby and twelve great-grandchildren.
A service in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mausoluem will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday with the Reverend Wayne Sorrells officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
Jean was a very special lady whom I loved to take care of. She touched my life in the grandest of ways! She will surely be missed!!
