Jerry Hill Eplee, 75, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at River Bend Health and Rehabilitation.

A native of Buncombe Co., Jerry was a son of the late James H. and Evelyn Boyd Eplee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Brown Eplee, daughter, Christy Eplee, brother, William Eplee, and sisters, Rosena Haney, Helen Scott and Jimmie Dean Parris.

Jerry was previously the owner of Jerry’s Biltmore Gulf in Biltmore and also owned and operated Jerry’s Enterprises.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Crook, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Pastor Allen Rash officiating.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.

We are sure going to miss Jerry he was the best friend we ever had a kind loving person who would stop what ever he was doing to help anyone he could there will never be another Jerry thats for sure .There wasn’t many resturants that Judy and Jerry and us wasnt still there eating laughing and talking have a good time just enjoying the great company of Judy and Jerry .We all enjoyed traveling together .There wasnt anything Jerry couldn’t fix and especially the little race cars he built for the handicap children he loved doing things for special kids and at christmas you could count on Jerry and Judy being at the childrens home to spend christmas and Jerry was Santa claus we will miss you Jerry we will never have a friend like you and Judy you two were the best that there was .We love you both very much .
