Nancy I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Mickey. May God give you peace and comfort as you go through this very sad time… 🙁
Mickey was a great man! Always willing to help someone in need. Always with a smile on his face. Always cuttin up & going on. I thought the world of Mickey, & loved to hear him tell about the yesteryears. Exspecial about working with my family & great grandparents. My heart is broken for yall. Praying for Gods comfort.
I miss you so much already my friend. We spent a lot of time together over the past 25 years. I will never forget your smile, your laugh, and the twinkle in your eyes! This picture is 100% Mickey…in your overalls, with your walking stick, and ready to work.
My dear Nancy & Jaime………we’ve been praying for a long time for you both and the extended family, knowing God would either heal Mickey or give him the ‘ultimate healing’ of being able to go on home. I know we don’t see you as often now that we live in Fletcher, but we still love all our Leicester friends……..and that includes you and Jaime, and of course Mickey. Just knowing he’s passed on is bittersweet because we want to hold on to our loved ones here on earth as long as we can………..and yet in a way I envy him, because he’s getting to see things that only our minds can imagine! What a glorious time for him 🙂 And yet, he’s left loved ones behind. You’ve been so faithful and right by his side throughout all his sickness. I know you’re very tired, honey. Try to rest knowing that others are lifting you up high up to the Father during these difficult times. In Isaiah 41:10, the Father is actually addressing Israel, but these words are so comforting for us all: ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’
With sincerest sympathies and love, Kathy & Randy Flint
Mickey helped me move to a very small place. He had moving equipment from when he and Nancy would move pianos. After the work was all done we all sat in my new living room talking a bit. This trailer was so small that Austin had to use a towel between his knees and the bath tub when he used the bathroom. Mickey went in there before he hit the road back to Leicester. He said ‘ Boy I’d hate to have to go real quick.’ It was so funny.
Going to miss my friend Mickey.
Our staff just found out that our sweet patient Jerry Parham had passed away. We are truly saddened to hear this. He was a very sweet man and will be missed terribly. Please know that we will keep Nancy close in our thoughts and prayers.
