  1. Joan, my best friend, sister, my everything! I will always love and miss you dearly. I always will treasure the sweet memories with both of our families. Death takes the body, God takes the soul. Our mind holds the memories. Our heart keeps the love. Our faith lets us know that we will meet again. May you rest now in peace in the hands of God. 3. Marvin, Harry, and Sue: As a member of Biltmore Church, I had the privilege of meeting and visiting with Mrs McCracken on many occasions during her later years; the past year limited by COVID. We had many sweet talks of her life journey, filled with family, friends, and those whom she treasured. She loved the Lord and her family. I will always remember her sweet, sweet spirit. She was a precious lady who enriched my life. My sympathy and prayers for the family. Carolyn Fuqua

  4. Aunt Jo was my aunt and wife of my uncle, the late Dr. Marvin McCracken and mother of my cousins, Marvin and Harry. She was a loving and loyal wife to my uncle and a wonderful mother for Marvin and Harry and baby Mark. She was a gentle and kind person who always put others before herself. She treated me and my family as if we were her own. She was an important part of the McCracken family and will be missed by those of us who follow her. Jo has led a very purposeful Christian life and will reside with her maker.
