John Arthur Barringer, 34, of 151 Pole Creasman Road, Asheville, died Sunday, February 21, 1999.
Mr. Barringer was born in Chambers County, TX, and was employed by Eaton Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Proffitt Barringer; a daughter, Stephanie Barringer; his parents, Stanley T. and Doris East Barringer; and three brothers, Tony, Tim, and Mike Barringer.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert G. Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
