  1. Jo and Gladys, we go back a long way and have many fond memories of your Dad while we were ‘growing up.’ I know that he is now free of earthly worries and pain, and with his family who preceded him. My prayers to you all.
    Love, Jane Anne

  2. Please accept my sincere sympathy.Balfour always thought so much of Johnny and Ruth and I learned to share his appreciation of them.
I’m sure they had a great influence on the young people of our church at the time they were their counselors. Take care and remember the good times.

  3. Gladys,
We are thinking of you and remembering you and the family in our prayers. We will be out of town but wanted you to know we are thinking of you.

  4. Dear Family of Rev. Jones,
As Pastor of Trinity UMC for seven years I always enjoyed my visits. He was a delightful, humorous gentleman with lots of interesting stores. His humor and joy will be missed.
    Pastor Robert

  5. Joanne and Gladys, We spent many happy days at Trinity and on Oakwood Street with Johnny and Ruth and both of you. We are most thankful for the influence they had on our lives. Our thoughts and love are with you at this time. Harold and Ruth.

  6. We enjoyed working with Johnny at Elkwood UM Church, and each Sunday we have services his works can be seen since he was the one who led the remodeling of our church building. Our children will always remember him, too, for the work he did with the youth. Our sympathies are with you.
