  3. From Mary M. Westall Large: Our hearts ache with yours and we regret that we’re not physically able to come to tomorrow’s service. John was 5 days older than I; our friendship has lasted 79 yrs. The incredibly rich memories I have will never dim, but keep him and your extended family vibrantly alive. Despite the Grt. Depression, WWII and personal tragedies, we’ve had a wonderful time all along the way. His life was indeed blest by you; Sue, Johnny and Janie, and yours by him, a truly good and special man.
