John Joseph Fazio, Jr., 37, of 289 Hampton Gap Road, Mars Hill, died unexpectedly last week at his home. Mr. Fazio was born in Queens, NY, and was the owner and operator of Mighty Movers Moving Company. He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed. We love you, John, and miss you already. He is survived by his wife, Traci Jones Fazio; one daughter Adrianne Fazio of the home; his parents John Joseph Fazio, Sr. and Adrienne Tyner Fazio of Queens, NY; three sisters, Susan Hewit of Hamilton Beach, NY, Nancy Cremmins of Raleigh, NC, and Carol Kutcha of Dover, NJ; and his mother and father-in-law LaRee and Gary Jones of Barnardsville. A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Scroggs officiating. His family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

  1. I will always have such great memories of you ‘Fish’. We had many great times upstate as children & then as teens. You always had the best stories & adventures to share. I know I can speak for all of the Martin’s & tell you you will be missed & are a beloved friend to all.

    my depest sympaty I was not attend his memorial which I would have like to have done in person I will miss fish very much and will always remember the good times we had growing up together. I did talk to fish about three weeks prior which I thank God for. Our deepests sympathies. keith & courtney hudon
