Josef H. Gilsdorf

A native of Cologne, Germany, he was the son of Katie Kyle of St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was a member of the American Legion and an employee of Alliance Carolina Tool and Mold for the past 31 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Ray Gilsdorf; son, Randolph Gilsdorf of Euskirchen, Germany; step-son, Keith Pittillo of Mills River and five grandchildren.

Private services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Revs. Jack Plemmons and Don Burchette.

The family will receive friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 16, Asheville, NC 28802.
