  5. Ed and family , I’m sorry for your loss . My condolences . I visited Morrison’s regularly and enjoyed talking books with Mr . Morrison . I will miss seeing him at the bookstore .

  6. Dear Ed and family,
My husband, Jim, and I visited your shop today. I was not feeling 100% and finally sat down in your dad’s chair by the doorwhile waiting for Jim to finish shopping. I wondered where your dad was but thought he might have been in the back. When a regular customer came in and said he was sorry to learn of your dad’s passing, I felt very badly for you and your family … and for all the customers who enjoyed coming in and chatting with your dad. He was always so helpful. We will miss seeing him and talking with him. God bless your dad, you and your family.

  7. Our deepest condolences from the Banks and Harris Family.
My mom & I always enjoy going to the Paperback Palace to pick out
books. So sorry Edward for the loss of your father. It was sad not seeing your
    das today.

  8. You and your family have my sincere sympathy. I will miss seeing your father in his chair. He was a very nice man to talk to. It seems like he always had a smile. God bless you and your family.

  9. Ed, I am sooo very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I shall miss him deeply. He and I had joked with each other — in our mutually gruff manners — since 1982 when y’all were over in Etowah. His knowledge of firearms, their history, and accoutrements was truly encyclopedic. Every time I thought I had caught him in a mistake, my research once again would prove him 100% correct! My gosh, I cannot imagine life in the shop without him. He will be tremendously missed, and I feel honored to have known him for those 35 years.

  10. Ed, Was so sorry to hear about your father today. Always enjoyed talking with him when my sister and I came in. I looked forward to seeing what western and action book he was reading sitting in ‘his’ chair. Mr Morrison always had a friendly word and a ready smile. I know one chapter has closed for him and another is beginning. Know you will miss him deeply but memories are our precious gifts to keep our love ones close to our hearts. My deepest sympathy to you and your family on your loss. May God bless.
