Fletcher- Juanita Ray Hall, 79, of Fletcher, went to her heavenly home on Saturday February 20, 2021. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Susanna Pittillo. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 23 years, Ned Ray; brothers George Pittillo, Clyde Pittillo (Loretta), and David Pittillo; brother-in-law Bennie Ray as well as Juanita’s second husband of 19 years, Bryan Hall.
Juanita is survived by daughter Linda Ray and husband Richard, son Ricky Ray and wife Karen; sisters Sarah Ray and Martha-Jane Pittillo; sister-in-law, Pauline Pittillo; 5 granddaughters, Mandi, Amanda, Jami and husband Devin, Ashley and Morgan; 8 great grandchildren, Kyndall, Hunter, Jordan, Covi, Tristan, Zoey, Paul and Brendan and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step-children Gayle Truax, Norma Lane and husband Danny and Kathy Leep and multiple step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita spent her life devoted to her family and friends and was able to pass away at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a graduate of Valley Springs High School and a dedicated employee of CTS for 23 years and Kearfott Guidance for over 30 years.
Juanita was the rock of her family, best sister, wife, mother, and nana. She would open her heart and her home to all and was the very best friend to her great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive guests at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:30-2:00 prior to the service.

Juanita will be very missed. I have known Juanita for many years at work, at the ball field and Corner grill. It won’t be the same with out her. I am praying for all of you family. Juanita loved her family unconditionally. She was a really good fun friend and will not have to suffer or face pain any longer. I sure will miss Juanita and pray many blessings and comfort for all of you.
Juanita was a awesome person. She always was so kind to me and my family.

Juanita was a neighbor to my daughter, Mary. She was a very caring person and loved her family! We always enjoyed visiting her and Bryan. My love and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.
