Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Wonderful mother, grandmother, family member and friend. She will be missed. Much love to family and friends. May God grant you “that peace that passes all understanding.”

  2. Judy was a wonderful friend and Sister-in Law. She will be missed by the family and all who knew her!

  3. Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  4. Aunt Judy was a very sweet and loving Aunt who left many wonderful childhood memories. One of my fondest memories was playing with dolls at her house. I was struggling to put an outfit on a doll and Aunt Judy came to the rescue. She was gentle, soft spoken and helped teach me how to get the outfit on the doll with easy. Her gentleness and soft spoken voice always made things seem better.

Sending prayers of peace and comfort over you all! We love you!

  5. Joe Tandy and Linda Sluder Tandy
We send our love and sympathy to Judy and Will’s immediate family, as well as to all of Joe’s Pruett Cousins. Linda remembers Judy as a vibrant class leader at Hall Fletcher Jr. and Lee Edwards High School, and beyond. May God’s love surround and give comfort to each of you.

  6. Aunt Judy was a loving and giving person. May the knowledge that she is home bring you God’s peace during this time.

  7. Strong, chuckling, smiling, smart, devoted to family, enclopedia of family lore, caring for Will, adoring the children, appreciative of friends, knowledgeable about things medical, all descriptions that come to mind as I think of Judy. She blessed my life and I already miss her. Praying for Jill, Amy and all who loved Judy, and sending love from her maternal first cousin.

  8. Dear Amy and Jill and family. It is with a heavy heart as Mary Dot and I are sitting at the breakfast table reflecting on Judy’s life. We spent our entire life with this precious lady. She introduced us when we were sixteen years old. We recently moved to Greensboro because of my health situation to be closer to the girls. But we keep up with Judy constantly thru the girls. Judy always treated us like we were family. She loved her family and friends so very much. She loved her Jesus also and that is the best thing, she is with him now. No more suffering and pain. We are all blessed in so many ways to have known Judy, A real JEWEL!

  9. So many good memories of this precious lady. She loved and was so proud of her girls so very much. Have not been around Judy in the past few years but there was never a Christmas since 1986 that we did not exchange Christmas cards and the Thanks of God’s Blessing with each one of them. Amy and Jill and families, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joe and Linda Scorsone .

  10. So sorry to learn of my cousin Judy’s passing. I had not seen her in a long time, but remember the good times I had with Judy and her brother Sonny. I know she will be missed, but I’m also sure she was welcomed with loving arms by the ones who have gone on before.

  11. Judy and I were first cousins but in last few years we were like sisters. She was funny, loving, and thoughtful. I talked to her nearly every day and I do so miss those calls. She blessed my life and I miss her dearly. My love and prayers to Jill, Amy, & Family

  12. Amy & Family,
I’m so sorry about the loss of your mother. I fondly remember her from way back at our West Buncombe days. Love & Prayers to you.

  13. I miss Judy so much. She and I had marathon phone sessions (2-4 hours!) every other weekend, talking about everything under the sun. She was a dear cousin, but more than that, a beloved friend. I think of her every day. My heart is with all the family and friends who love and miss her.

    Sharon

  14. I have just found out that Judy is no longer with us. She and I were neighbor friends when we were growing up and enjoyed many summer days together. She was a lovely person then and I know she will be missed! I am so grateful we were friends.
