Judy Irene Richards, 70, of Asheville, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was born in 1950 in New York. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Richards and Irene Bullock Richards; brothers, Frank Richards, Gordon Richards; sisters, Marie Wells and Martha Richards.
She is survived by a son Michael C. Foxx (Charlene) of North Dakota and a daughter, Michelle Moore (Melissa) of Asheville. She has four grandchildren; Mailtand, Ethan, Jansen and Chelsey; and two great-grandchildren.
Ms. Richards was employed by Mission Hospital as an Administrative Assistant.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm, Riverside Cemetery. Mary Marett will officiate.
For those who wish to pay their respects Mrs. Richards will lie in repose at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road, Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in her memory to Memory Care Alzheimer’s Support Group or Alzheimer’s Association of WNC.
