  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Todd, Julie, Lauren & Devan Wise

  2. We are so proud of Judy for the battle she fought so diligently. We should all take comfort in knowing she beat the odds in her life and made the very best of every situation.
    We Love You,
    Tina and Holly

  3. Judy will be dearly missed. She did so much for Megan’s girl scout troop, troop #168 – she was always there to help, serve and provide a good example for others to follow. She went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to being a girl scout parent. Camp Pisgah will certainly never be the same.

Megan – our thoughts are with you. Know that you are loved by all of troop #168 and that we’re here for you anytime you need or want us!

  4. Paul and Megan, We know how hard this is, and our prayers are with you. Megan, your mom has been changed like the Caterpillar to the beautiful Butterfly! We will see her someday, and we’ll all be wonderfully changed too. Love you , Mary Lynn and Carroll Luther

  5. Although the battle is lost, Judy fought with courage and great spirit to stay. Her gentle presence will always be with you Paul and Megan.

  6. Paul and Meagan, may their be comfort in knowing that so many people cared for Judy and her family. She was a great friend to me at the soccer games. She was always funny and a great mom and wife. God bless you as you continue on with your journey in life and know that one day you will see her again, and it will be a beautiful day.

  7. Judy was a good friend of mine during my high school years. I always enjoyed visiting with her at alumni reunions. It had been several years since I have seen Judy, but even at that she was still a good friend and I will miss her.

  8. The world has suddenly become a much emptier place…the spirit of Judy was undefeatable. Against so many hardships she prevailed, with solid determination and hard won success. A treasure of memories we now possess, invaluable in her frank assessment of life’s many twists and situations. A deep loss, gone but never to be forgotten. I will miss my friend. Very much, indeed.

  9. Paul & Megan-

Our hearts and prayers are with you. Judy was a great person. Her outlook was always sunny and her happiness infectious. Her love for both of you shown through her smile and support of all that you did. Know that she continues to smile down on you and watch over you.

  10. Judy was such a sweet and lovable person. I will always remember her for the smile on her face and her quick, infectious laugh. She is a huge part of the many wonderful memories I have of my years at Mount Pisgah Academy. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this sad time. She will be missed very much by us all.

  11. Judy Allen will truly be missed. She had an infectious giggle/laugh, and a happy spirit. Our daughter, Suzy and Judy were best of friends since 3rd grade and it was our pleasure to have Judy’s presence in our home in Woodside Hills, Candler.
I remember the fun times at our house – when Judy and Suzy’s friends would carve their pumpkins on our porch, parties on the porch, Sabbath afternoons at our house, Sabbath afternoon hikes, the APES (Asheville-Pisgah Elementary School) Walkathon, fun times at the Morton’s pool, Mt. Pisgah Academy activities. So many fun and happy memories to keep in our hearts.
We look forward to heaven when all of our families will again be united and never part again, enjoying the pleasures and delights planned for us while Judy and all of us can breathe freely in the heavenly atmosphere. Our prayers are with you, Paul & Megan and Judy’s family.
Love and blessings, Dr. Dave & Judy Rynearson

  12. After seeing Judy this past April at our 20 year high school class reunion, I can hardly believe she is no longer with us. She was the happy and vibrant Judy I remembered from school, who seemed better than ever. To learn she had successfully undergone a double-lung transplant and had birthed a precious daughter, testifies to the incredible strength and faith Judy lived in spite of her health battle. I pray these attributes will live on in her husband, daughter, other family members, and friends, ‘for we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.’

  13. Judy was a good friend. I wish I had kept in touch better over the last few years. I’m very glad that I went to see her a couple of weeks ago. She recognized me immediately, we talked and caught up a little. Sandy (Morton) Walker, Judy, and myself had many good times growing up. There are many great memories that I’ll also cherish. Judy made my day once in 7th grade when she told Sandy that she thought I was cute. I know it’s silly, but I’ve always remembered that. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I plan to stay in touch from now on. Love, Kevin

  14. Paul, Megan, Janet and all the Allen Brothers; My thoughts and prayers are with you! Judy has been a blessing in lots of peoples lives, her strength and spirt will be missed by all! ‘Judy, Judy, Judy..’
