Karen Nybro was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on April 24, 2017.
Karen was born on June 1, 1958 at Wiesbaden AFB, Germany. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Nybro and one sister, Cheryl Nybro.
She is survived by her father, Raymond Nybro (Brenda); two sisters, Cynthia Buege (Don) and Laura Rogers (Wayne) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Roberts Memorial Park in Arden with Pastor Roger Rearden officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Happy Hooves" Equine Therapy Center to celebrate Karen's passion and gift for working with horses; 4700 Dacusville Hwy., Marietta, SC 29661.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
Karen was one of my best friends in high school and in band. Even though I lost track of her, I would always wonder if she was okay and where she was. Karen was a kind person and I know she will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
