Arden – Karie Eloise Jackson, 17 months, has gone to Heaven to be with her great grandparents on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
Karie was born in Buncombe County to Adam and Brooke Jackson of Arden. She was deeply loved by all her family and friends and brought joy to everyone and will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
In addition to her parents, Karie is survived by her grandparents, Kevin and Bernice Vought of Arden and Jeffrey and Deborah Jackson of Black Mountain; a brother, Austin Sluder; great grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, August 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Reverend Mark Penley officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Episcopal Churchyard.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
