So sorry for your loss, My Grandchildren David and Lonnie Thomas really loved and adored Kermit. He will be missed by them, They are heartbroken by this, They alway’s talked about him..
I am so sorry to hear of Kermits death. He may not be with us anymore but without a doubt he is walking the streets of gold and singing praises to GOD. He was a blessing to me and my Mother (Naomi Justice). He would come over as often as he could and sing to her. I pray for all the family, may God bless and comfort you all.
Kermit was such a blessing in my life! I loved sitting and singing with him and my great-grandmother (Kermits aunt Naomi). I remember singing Wade in the Water for him one day because he didn’t know the song. He had me sing that song several times as my great grandmother laughed at our silliness. I loved singing with Kermit and just being around him. He was always such a joyful person and showed everyone God’s love.
To the family of Kermit, my family would like to send our deepest sympathy to you all. He and my father(Tommy Watts) was the best of friends. I know when my dad passed he was there with me in the room over at the solice center and the song wedding invitation was playing on the radio and he told me that daddy just got his invitation. Now Kermit got his invitation. I can just imagine the reunion that him and my father must be having. He was always a blessing and a joy to be around. A lot of singing he did while my sweet daddy played the guitar. He will be greatly missed but I have the assurance of seeing both him and my daddy again one day. God Bless.
Please accept my deepest condolences. May you find comfort in Gods promise to wipe out all tears, death and pain forever. (Rev.21:3, 4)
May God be with Kermit’s family at a time like this,I worked with Kermit at Mike’s when I was 16 and the funniest thing I remember is they was a Mopar performance t-shirt hanging above the parts counter and he told me we better get that down for that was liable to leak oil on the counter,RIP kermit

So sorry to hear of Kermit’s passing and being called home to the Lord. Knew Kermit for many decades, first met him back in the 70’s when he raced his Chevy II at Greer Dragway and during his days at Mike’s Auto Parts and Speedy’s Auto Parts. Was a great guy that always took time to say hello and will be sadly missed. May God bless and comfort you in your time of sorrow and may you rejoice in the fact that he is now in the presence of the Lord and all of his family and friends that have went before him and you will meet again one day in the Kingdom of the Lord!!!
As sad as I am to hear the Kermit won’t be singing for us here on Earth anymore, I am so happy to know that he is with my mother (Naomi Justice[Kermit’s Aunt]) & my daddy (Reverend William Justice) in Heaven singing God’s praises for eternity. He was a great blessing to especially my mother, in addition to the entire Justice family. With much respect and love, Fran Justice (Naomi’s baby daughter).
II Corinthians 5:8 King James Version: ‘We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord’.
May God comfort your hearts. We are praying for the family. God’s peace be with you all. Harry and Diane Hoffman; Darrell and Renee Hoffman.
Sorry for your loss. May God be with you in this time of sorrow that he is gone from this world but rejoice that he is in heaven with my Grandmother Naomi singing praises to the king of kings. Mitchel McNutt Family(Naomi Justice Grandson)
I first remember Kermit at Homer’s Gulf for years and at Mike’s Auto Parts later on. He always greeted me with a big smile and warm welcome. He was always helpful and very knowledgeable concerning any car issues I might present to him.
I also enjoyed the many times we raced on Saturday nights at Greer Dragway…what great memories! I extend my sincere sympathy to your family during this most difficult time.
