Kimberly Dawn "Kimmy" Lentz, 42, of Fairview, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born August 28, 1970 and was a resident of Asheville most of her life.
Kimmy will best be remembered for the love of her dog, Tank, her 1986 Mustang GT, her beautiful smile and eyes and her joy of spontaneous gatherings and adventures with her closest friends. She was a tomboy in life and was an angel in heart who was always quick to offer help to anyone and never really knew a stranger.
The immediate family will have a private celebration of her life. Her many friends may check facebook for details of a memorial gathering.
Groce Funeral Homke on Tunnel Road is assisting the Lentz family.
My thoughts and Prayers are with all the Friends and Family of Kimmy. She was such fun, loving kind person that always made you laugh.I hate that we lost touch so many years ago.By her picture I can tell she was still just as pretty as ever.
Kimmy was a very special person. I pray that the family will find peace and comfort. She will be missed but never forgotten.
My heart goes out to the family of Kimmy, she and I were close friends all through high school, we had the most fun in those 4 years together but lost contact after graduation. We ran into one another just last summer and our friendship picked right back up where we had left it. Kimmy was such a great loving person and I pray that God will heal all the hearts that are broken during this time. May God bless the family and I pray you are at peace my friend.
Todd, Brenda I can’t imagine the sorrow you guys must be feeling. However, I know that aunt Drake and my mom are in heaven, and I’m sure they will watch over her. Our family has known you guys for years and we are all saddened by this tragedy. We will forever keep all of you in our prayers. Kim rest in peace. Love, Sonja, Sophie and Heather.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Kimmy was a precious soul with the brightest smile. She will be missed by all of us who were honored to know and love her. Blessings to each of you.
Love in Christ
