Leila Hoch Schwartz, 84, of 321 Haw Creek Mews Drive, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Freda Perlman Hoch. She was a member of the congregation of The Chabad House. Leila wanted to be remembered as a good mother, a charitable person who loved people and animals. She loved every day of her life and that she had a good sense of humor and could make people smile. Leila is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene H. Schwartz; and three daughters, Susan Schwartz, Barbara Schwartz and Elyse Pipitone. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the residence. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.

    We know how your heart aches. Your marriage, and Leila’s beaming pride in and love for her daughters, was a wonderful thing to be around. Through the difficult grieving ahead, there will be many, many fond memories that will give you solace–like opening up a treasure chest filled with precious memories for you to hold and be comforted by. Jim and I are thinking of you and celebrate with you Leila’s life of truth and joy.
