I have known Les since he started working at Porter Bros. in Shelby. He was a well respected employee and sales rep in the Turf Division. I cherish our friendship through the years and memories of times we’ve gotten together at the beach, especially celebrating his 80th birthday at his home in Leicester, and get togethers with Joel and Fran Johnson. He is a friend who will be greatly missed.
Our sincere condolence in the lost of your father and grandfather. He was a great neighbor and friend to us. May you have comfort in remembering and cherishing all the great times you had together.
Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts. This is one man that left a big one on mine. Thank you for all the good times Daddy Les, when we ‘Girls’ were young. Some of us were not fortunate enough to have fathers in our lives, but you were a fine replacement for mine. And Beth shared her father with me without jealousy or selfishness. Loved you so much Daddy Les and always will. Until we meet again, put in a few good words for me. Love you Beth.
Les was such a wonderful man. I have many fond memories of our times together. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.l

Beth, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad..I know you were very close and that right now you feel that your heart is breaking…Prayers for you and your whole family.
I will never forget all the times spent at Daddy K’s house growing up in Woodside Hills. You were just like a father to many of us and you treated us all as if we were your own. If we got out of line, you got on us just as you did Beth. You are loved and will be missed by many.
Beth and Joe, I am so sorry for the loss of your father and I pray that GOD will wrap you tight in his loving arms in the days to come as you grieve. Take comfort in knowing how much he was loved and how he touched the lives of so many.
RIP Daddy K!!!!!
Beth, I have a lot of great memories of your Dad and I thank you for sharing him with me all these years and with your God-children. I’m so very glad that Sheena and Dakota knew him through you and that they had that other grand-parent. He couldn’t have had a better daughter than you and I know this is a great loss to you and Barry. I feel sure your Dad is happy in this next phase, totally free from Alzheimer’s. I’m sure he’s already met back up with JM in Heaven and that they are sharing some very fond memories from his time in the Air Force. Please know that Ray and I are here for you guys.
