Deepest Sympathy, Love, and Prayers
JoAnn, so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I have thought about her many times, you also. Would love to hear from you. Praying for you and your family during this time. You have my deepest sympathy.
Miss Leta had a wonderful sweet spirit. She was always smiling and happy to talk. I have missed her at church since she has been at the nursing home. She seemed to enjoy singing, and I am looking forward to meeting up with her in heaven to sing together.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for the entire family. I know there is a happy reunion going on in heaven.
I never met her, but I am betting she knew my dad, Charles Massey, son of Hobb Massey, grandson of Zebulon and Hattie Massey, who owned the grocery story by The French Broad River in Barnard. Zeb’s mother was Rachel Tennyson Massey, and lived on Big Pine, and later Zeb behind his store until the house burned down. I would like to talk with someone in the family to see if we might be related. My dad was born in 1920. He had a brother Lee, younger, who was killed in an accident with teenagers at 15. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had known her. God bless and comfort all of you. We know Jesus will return some day to raise all who love him and take them home with him. God Bless.
