Lonnie Ray "PaPaw Biggie" Warren, 62, of 345 Beaverdam Loop Rd., Candler, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at St. Joseph Campus Mission Hospitals.
Mr. Warren was a son of the late Roy and Nellie James Warren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Ray Warren, Jr.; father-in-law, and working buddy, Warren G. Brock; and four brothers, Joe, Cliff "Toot," Dane, and James "Babe."
Mr. Warren retired from American Vault Co. with 26 years of service. Mr. Warren was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Brock Warren; daughter, Deanna Roseborough and husband Tony "Bones," of Candler; sisters, Barbara Briggs and husband Harold, of Asheville, Londa Young and husband, Kenneth, of Candler, and Henrietta Hoglen and husband Jim, of Leicester; brothers, Delon Warren and late wife Kathryn, Denlow "Bunt" Warren and wife Wanda, Rollins "Lib" Warren and wife Beverly, and Vaugn "Big Baby" Warren and wife Leslie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bill and Carolyn Whitted, Dan and Linda Green, and Ronnie and Susan Brock; grandchildren, Tanner and Cassie "Trombone" Roseborough; and many special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Warren will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, formerly known as Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jack W. Collins and Ed Worley officiating.
His family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. I did not know Lonnie but I know he was a special person because you are a special person and delightful to know and work with.
