Lou Ellen Craig Lewis, 76, of Fletcher, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late John Walter and Malinda Ballard Craig and wife of the late Buster Lewis. She also was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Lewis and two brothers, Howard Craig and Clarence Craig.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by two daughters, Kathy Lewis and Margaret Lewis; three sons, David Lewis, Danny Lewis and Alan Lewis; two sisters, Mildred Owen and Catherine Lance; one brother, Lewis Craig; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
