Your Mother was one great lady and our memories are dear, especially those special times at Smokemont, enjoying her delicious apple cake and talking up a storm around the campfire every night!
She was our Favorite Aunt and such a Loving Sister to our Mama. We find such comfort in knowing she is reunited with all her loved ones and forever with Our Lord.
God Bless You All & Peace To Thee,

We are sorry we will not be able to attend Aunt Lucy’s funeral on Monday. In case I am not able to reach you by phone before the funeral, I wanted you to know that we would be there if that were possible. We came back to Florida last week, and we didn’t learn about Aunt Lucy until late Saturday.
Aunt Lucy was a special person in my life. I remember the times I spent with all of you during summer vacations. She was a wonderful person, always putting her family first; and she was loved by everyone who knew her.
We were planning to come up to see her the next time we were in Georgia, and I am so sorry that wont be possible now.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Clarice and Clayton

Marie and Betty –
Our sympathy to you and your families. Lucy was warm and charming, and when we saw her last year, still pretty.

Lucy and her husband Boone were very special people to myself and my Mother. They were neighbors to my Mom and each helped keep an eye on one another. They are really missed alot by us. Lucy was a beautiful lady, and we loved chatting about gardenening, cooking, sewing and just general conversation. She will be missed by many. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family.
