Ms. Lucy was an amazing substitute for us when I served as the Assistant Principal at Avery’s Creek Elementary. She was a ray of sunshine! The students knew she was loving but meant business. They always loved seeing Ms. Lucy. Be proud family of her impact on both children and adults! God Bless!
Ms. Lucy was such a sweet lady. I got to know her when she would substitute at Avery’s Creek Elementary. She would often come by my class to say hello and chat for a minute. Always a smile on her face and kind words to say about her class that day. She will sure be missed, but I know Heaven is brighter with her there. Prayers for her family.
Ms. Lucy was a sweet, kind, caring and compassionate lady. I was fortunate to get to know her when I was the principal at Avery’s Creek Elementary School 2014-2021. Ms. Lucy always said “yes” when I called her to come in. She would always bring treats for the kids and was loved by everyone! Our world was a better place because of her! Prayers and comfort to her family!
Lucy was a friend from First Baptist Church Asheville. We enjoyed many meals together & I remember she judged the meal by the dessert. I missed her when she moved to TN.
Sincere sympathy to David & family & her extended family especially Peggy.
