Luther Lee Case, 77, of 39 Rose Hill Rd., Asheville, died on Tuesday, November 18 2008, at Memorial Campus Mission Hospitals.
A native of Buncombe Co., Mr. Case was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Kirkendall Case.
Mr. Case worked for the Buncombe Co. School System. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, in Marion.
Mr. Case is survived by his wife, Minnie Buckner; son, Larry Case and wife Kimberly, of Asheville; and grandchildren, Larry Case, Aaron Surrett, and Danny Case.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

Our hearts are saddened to hear of Luther’s passing. Our ‘campground’ family will not be the same without him. We still hear his voice ringing out, ‘Are we having fun yet?’ We hold you dear, Minnie Belle, and are in our prayers.
