Mrs. Renda was born in New York City and was a daughter of Constantinos Kideris and the late Anna M. Kideris. She was a former resident of Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she worked for 20 years as a training specialist with American Express. She had lived in Buncombe County for 2 1/2 years and was a member of St. Eugene’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Frank Renda; two daughters, Denise Meola and her husband Charles, and Suzanne Renda; two grandchildren, Deanna and Alyssa Meola; and one brother, George Kideris.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Rev. Fr. James K. Solari officiating.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
