Lynn Hess Sluder, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
A native of Buncombe Co., Lynn was born on Christmas Day 1947, to the late Aubrey Lindon and Katherin Beulah Hess Sluder.
Mr. Sluder proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Corbin Sluder.
The Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 337 Charlotte Street, Asheville. Burial of Mr. Sluder’s remains will follow the service.

As you well know, as cousin’s we always loved each other and never ran out of things we could talk about or laugh about. I pray he is at peace, my prayers are with you. He loved you very much.
