Sheila Miller and family
Our family knew Mr. Rogers when we were kids growing up in the hayes cove. You all probably knew them too. My dad is Roy Lester, My mom is Myrtle Lester(deceased), I had three sisters, Phyllis, Carolyn and Marie, and I was known as Gordon Lester. I graduated with the last graduating class of Leicester High in 1961. Been a law enforcement officer over 31 years. Knew Mr Rogers as a godly hard working honest person. God bless you and know he is home. Bob Lester Family.
As a child I spent lots of time with this family and it is one of my favorite memories. I guess I remember the good food offered daily and how they make me, a kid, feel important.
Mack was one of my favorite people and we shared a common interest in the political arena. I always saw him at the Grove Park Inn at Christmas time with out buddy Charles Taylor.
Love and prayers to all of you.
