  2. From all our family members to yours we send our most heart felt sympathy. I remember many a warm summer afternoon in the back yard of Montana Ave, with Mack being the quarterback for some of us kids on one team and Carl the quarterback for the others. I remember Mack taking David and myself many a Friday night to an Asheville Tourist game. I have many great memories of Mack and him being a father figure to all the kids in the neighborhood. The grief is strong but will give way later to a smile and the feel that he is not so far away. Thanks Mack, I’m glad you were part of my life. Paul Ballard and Family.
