Marcia Jean Tarbert Marlowe, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep to her home in Heaven on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born to the late Richard Tarbert, Sr. and Leora Moss Tarbert, and is also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roy D. Marlowe, Sr.

Marcia was raised in Miami Florida and attended Stetson University. She was employed at the Biltmore Country Market for several years and later retired from the United States Postal Service in 1995. Marcia was an active member of Nesbitt’s Chapel Church and enjoyed serving with her fellow members. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Marcia also enjoyed hobbies like sewing, cooking, and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Roy D. Marlowe, Jr. and Donna Marlowe; granddaughter, Casey Marlowe (Eric Carson); great-grandchildren Zeke Marlowe and Bailey Carson; brother, Richard Tarbert, Jr. and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
