Dear Kathy and family, we are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Yanik. I didn’t know Margaret but I called on Al at Square D Co. when I worked for Tidewater Supply Co. years ago. He was a very intelligent engineer and easy to work with. Kathy, you looked so much like her and you sound like you really took after her. We live in Greensboro now, so we will not be at her service. Our thoughts and prayers will be on your family .during these days. Love and God bless your family.
Linda, John and Family,
Linda Im so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Seeing the awesome, incredible achievements you have made is a testiment to the wings your mom gave you.
Prayers said , please let me know a tangible way I can help .
Love , Suzanne
We are so very sorry to hear of your precious Mother’s passing. When my Mother became a resident, Mrs. Margaret was one of her first friends. They enjoyed being just across the hall from each other, especially this year. She and Mother watched TV together many days and nights. She watched over my Mother, and they were great friends. She was a beautiful lady, and I hope happy memories bring you comfort. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It was my greatest pleasure to meet Miss Margaret. She was so warm, friendly and welcoming of all to her family gatherings. She didn’t hold her tongue no matter who it was. She was a true gem. I, like you, will miss her dearly.
Dear Joe,
Alice and I extend our deepest sympathy to you, Michelle and your extended family during this time of loss and sadness. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
It was heartbreaking to hear the news of your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful woman. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and church. Mrs. Yanik filled Thanksgiving and Christmas with family and friends. She welcomes everyone in with a warm embrace and a heart filled with a smile. She touched many lives and was a remarkable woman. May her treasured smile and sweet memories live in our hearts.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Angie

I was so saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. Her presence is woven into my childhood memories and her faith and devotion to family continued to be a touchstone for me through your pictures and stories. Just last year when I revisited our Chunn’s Cove neighborhood, a vision of Margaret, seemingly always in the kitchen, flooded back to me. She warmly welcomed my family to the community and felt like a second mom to all the kids in the neighborhood. I particularly remember how she seemed to glow with love and pride at your wedding, Paul and Wesley. I will hold her memory in my heart and pray that you are comforted by the many memories of her.
