Margaret Louise Qualls Praytor, 81, formerly of Fletcher, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Park Ridge Living Center.
Mrs. Praytor was a native of Henderson County and was the daughter of the late Cephis V. and Alice Rosetta Pressley Qualls. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otho Praytor (1967) and a son, Norman Praytor (1963). She was a lunchroom cook at Fletcher Elementary School for 15 years and was a member of the Fletcher Women’s Club and the Fletcher United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters Shirley Harris of Fletcher, Myrtle Pressley of Mills River and Barbara Owenby of Arden; two sons, Van Allen Praytor and Wallace Praytor of Arden; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Harris officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
