Margaret Virginia Everhart

Margaret Carter Everhart, 71, of 15 Hawthorne Lane, Lexington, NC, died Tuesday, September 21, 1999 in an Asheville hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Jack Hiram Carter Sr. and Mae Haywood Carter, and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin Everhart Sr. She was a retired nursing assistant with 20 years service at the VA
Hospital in Salisbury.

She is survived by a daughter Robin Felecia Deen and her husband
Terrell of Kernersville, NC; sons, John (Tommy) Everhart, Robert Franklin Everhart Jr. and Dale Lindsay Everhart and his wife Jennie all of Lexington, NC; sisters, Rebecca Reese of Candler, Gladys Ownbey of Charlotte; brothers, Jack Hiram Carter Jr. and Karl Alexander Carter both of Asheville and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Reverend Randy Hall officiating.

No formal visitation is
planned. Memorials may be made to Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 1436 Cotton Grove Rd., Lexington, NC 27295.
