Margaret Whiteside Baldwin, 78, passed away following a sudden illness Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family. Mrs. Baldwin was born in Hendersonville to the late Robert Clinton Whiteside and Hilda Cathey Whiteside. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Baldwin and her previous husband, Lawrence Francis Kehoe, Jr. and a brother, Robert Whiteside. Mrs. Baldwin graduated from Mills River High School. She found her enjoyment and work at Mills River Ceramics and sitting on her deck in the spring. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher. Margaret is survived by her three children; Joseph Robert Kehoe and his wife, Martha, Margaret Kehoe Austin and Lawrence Francis Kehoe, III; two sisters, Estelle Whiteside and Jean Williams and her husband, Clyde; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher with Reverend Victor Mansfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mills River School in memory of Margaret Baldwin to help support the children's backpack program; you may contact Nita Owens at 828-891-6563 for additional information.

  3. May this verse at, Revelation 21:3, 4 bring consolation to your family: “I heard a loud voice from the throne say: ‘Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’” Please take comfort in this God given promise.

It was always so great talking to her. I am going to miss her more than I can say but I know your father will be so happy to see her again.
