Margery Katrine Miller Brown, 83, died Monday, July 11, 2011, at Memorial Mission Hospital.
She was a native of Chattanooga, TN, and was the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Elsie Simpson Miller. She retired from Appalachian Hall.
She is survived by one son, David Brown of Asheville, one daughter, Carol Brown of Asheville; one sister, Carol Ann O'Hanlon of Cobleskill, NY; two grandsons, Curtis and Joel Brown; one great grandson, Wallace Brown.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 14, at 11 am at Skyview Memorial Park. Pastor Erin Miller will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Foothills Golden Retreiver Resue: FHGRR, Inc., P.O. Box 9077, Greenville, SC 29604; or to an animal rescue group of your choice.
Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road is assisting the Brown family.

God bless her! Aunt Margie lived her life on her own terms and in her own house until the very end. God was merciful, her suffering was brief and now she is at peace. She will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. she and my mom were close and she talked often about her. They are now both together again and renewing their friendship once again. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
