Mrs. Farley was born in Graham Co., NC, and was married to William C. Farley, who died in 1963. She retired from the A-B Tech Book Store and was a member of Asheville Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cope of Weaverville and Peggy Kaufman and her husband Bob of Fletcher, with whom Mrs. Farley made her home; a son, Ray Best of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers, Ben and James Morton of Maryville, TN and Dale Lambert of Cleveland, TN; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Randy Johnson officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Graveside rites will be at 1:00 pm Monday at Carpenter’s Campground Cemetery, Maryville, TN.
