Marion Rose Gooley, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
Mrs. Gooley was a longtime member of Abernathy United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Food Service Industry. Mrs. Gooley was an active volunteer at the Abernathy church office and nursery, Asheville Catholic School, St. Joan of Arc Church and ABCCM.
Born in Chichester, NH, Mrs Gooley was preceded in death by her parents, Orrin and Rose Marston, her husband of 20 years, Mark Gooley, son in law, Shane Cook and three siblings. She is survived by children Steven W. Vien (Sue) of Port Richey, FL, Michael A. Vien (Andrea), Donna L. Cook both of Asheville, Patricia S. Anderson (Robert) of Eatonton,GA and Mark C. Sinclair (Gayle) of Rensselaer, IN, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Following a private family viewing at Groce Funeral Home burial will be at Pine Ground Cemetery in Chichester, NH.
