Marjorie Hannah Johnson

A native of Louisville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hannah and Jannie Heath Hannah.

She was a graduate of Highland Hospital Division of Duke University School of Nursing and was former Director of Nursing at Highland Hospital retiring in 1981 with 35 years of service, a former member of NC Nurses Association. She was on the Board of Trustees with Averys Creek Methodist Church as well as a member of Averys Creek Homemakers Club and former member of Quarter Country Club of Duke University.

Surviving is her husband, William Calvin ''Bill'' Johnson; she is also survived by a sister, Louise H. Baker of Waynesboro, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Averys Creek United Methodist Church with the Revs. Doug Love and Bob Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
