Marjorie James Russell
Fletcher, NC~ Marjorie James Russell, 81, of Fletcher, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at her residence.
A native of Cabarrus Co., she was the daughter of the late Wade H. and Viola Price James.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph E. Russell; three daughters, Judy, Robin and Christine Russell, all of Fletcher; two sons, Michael Russell of Burlington, NC and James Russell of Fletcher; a brother, Charles James of Rockwell, NC; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. A private burial will be at Lewis Memorial Park.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marjorie’s memory to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road in Arden, NC is in charge of the arrangements.
