Martha Ann Price Moses (Martie), 84, passed away September 24, 2024 at Solace Hospice in Asheville, NC.

She was born to the late William Holmes Price, Sr. and Mattie Kathryn Price of Arden, NC.

Martha was the wife of the late Paul Donald Moses, and they were married for 54 years. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Lorenz of Denver, Colorado, and a brother, Albert Ralph Price of Arden, NC.

Martha is survived by her brother, William Holmes Price, Jr. of Mills River, NC, her sister, Jean Allen, of Burnsville, NC, a special sister-in-law, Carolyn Pruitt, of Candler, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

Martha spent most of her life living in Candler, NC. Always full of love and laughter, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She retired from BASF after 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Asheville.

The family would like to thank Yancey House in Burnsville, NC for all the love and care Martha received there.

Martha will be laid to rest with her husband, Paul Moses, at the Western Carolina Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain.

The family asks that memorial contributions go to The Pat Summitt Foundation, 520 W. Summit Hill Dr., Suite 1101, Knoxville, TN 37902.

I’ll never forget the small red Bible you bought me when I was a young girl & You signed it. I recently passed it to my Daughter Amy. You will always be rembered with Love.
