She was beautiful, yet most simple
Loaned from heaven for a time
She set a rich example
In living life sublime
Always giving credit
To our Father up above
Never needing to re-edit
This life she came to love
A mother, grandmother and neighbor
A sister, wife and friend
It seems her time of labor
Has now come to an end
May God take her swiftly
As angels beckon her
We’ll each miss her greatly
Knowing she’s transferred
On to the land of promise
Way beyond the sun
Up where the sky is turquoise
For her work on earth is done
And as she meets our Maker
and others gone before
Exclaiming, ‘Oh my Savior!’
While reaching distant shores
The land of milk and honey
Where streets are paved of gold
There is no need for money
And goodbyes are never told
And now Mrs Martha dearest
As your journey here does end
May your spirit remain near us
As your soul – it does transcend
Welcomed by God’s son – begotten
with arms held open wide
You will never be forgotten
From here .. the other side
Dear Patty,
Memories of your Mom are sweet and pure. She was kind and always shared a smile. My thoughts, prayers and sympathy are with you and your family.
I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. You can be
assured that comfort and hope are found in the pages of the Bible. Revelations 21:4 speaks of a time when sorrow will be no more. This is a wonderful hope during our times of grief and pain. Please take care of yourselves.
Sincerely Mrs. Watkins
Our prayers go out to you at this time of sorrow. May God bless and keep you in his care. Love and prayers Phyllis and Jim Cole
Dear Patty Homer and family. So sorry for the loss of aunt Martha. She was a part of our family before I was ever born. Not really an aunt by birth but she seemed always like family. She truly was a Blessing to us. She will greatly be missed. No doubt she is still shouting in Glory today. She was a Great and fine example of a Christian lady. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Thank God he allowed her to be a part of our lives. Rest in the peace and comfort that only God can give. Praying for you. David & Angela.
