Martin Marques Pina

Arden ~ Martin Marques Pina, 84, of the Oaks at Sweeten Creek, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2005. A native of New Bedford, Mass., Mr. Pina was the son of the late Manuel and Roselina Cunha Pina. Mr. Pina was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bromley Pina on June 28, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Schiera and husband Ron of Asheville, Barry Pina and wife Dee of Palm Bay, FL; two granddaughters, Kimberly Spinninck of Atlanta, GA and Amy Schiera of Greenville, SC. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. 1250 Hyland Blvd. Suite 4-B Staten Island, NY 10305. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
