Mary Alice McLean

She was a native of Madison
County and was a daughter of the late John and Flora Anders Wheeler. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, C.
Fred McLean of Asheville; two grandchildren, Monica Killian and her husband Jack of Hickory and
Chris McLean of Asheville; one great-grandson, Zack Killian of Hickory; three sisters, Gladys
Deweese and Pauline Carroll of Asheville, and Grace Gilbert of Arden; and several nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Doctor J. Derrill Smith officiating.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family requests that
memorial contributions be made in her name to Grace Baptist Church, 718 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of arrangements.
