Mary Elizabeth McQuilling

July 4, 1984 ~ February 22, 1999

Mary Elizabeth McQuilling, 14, daughter of Patrick G. and Beverly Paulk McQuilling, of 35 Duncan Creek Road, Fletcher, died Monday, February 22, 1999, in Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia, NC.

Miss McQuilling was born in Alexandria, LA, and attended and lived at Holy Angels in Belmont, NC. She was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Michelle McQuilling, and by her grandfathers, Gerald Paulk and John McQuilling.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, John Patrick McQuilling; her grandmothers, Joel Paulk of Fletcher and Nancy McQuilling of Alexandria, LA; her great-grandmother, Norma Stringer of Wildsville, LA, and by many aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Schneider at 11:00 am Thursday, February 25, 1999, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Churchyard, Fletcher.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian and request that memorials be made to Holy Angels, PO Box 710, Belmont, NC 28012.
