Mary June Clark Brown, 72, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Elizabeth Miller Clark. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Edith Woody and Judy Clark.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Curt Brown; her sons, Greg and Doug; her daughter, Amanda, and son-in-law, Kris; grandsons, Christian and Caden; and her brother, Frank Clark.
Mary was a homemaker and an active lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caregiver to many family and friends, doing God’s work in own special way.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018, at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Duckworth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1056 Riceville Road, Asheville, NC 28805.

I send my prayers to all of Mary’s family as I grew up in Oteen on Middle Grassy Branch Rd. Mary plus Judy went to school with me. I love her so as I’m 1 year younger than her. She was such a gentle, loving & Godly lady & I’ll always cherish her memory for God allowing us to grew up close together.
