I cannot believe that Mimi is gone. I have such wonderful memories of growing up together. I still have the picture of Mimi, Debbie Bradley, Bill Hagna and me when we server in the Marion High Homecoming Court. We must have been only 6 or 7. I fondly remember her mom and dad bringing her over to Arden for my first Christ School Dance. We were in the 7th grade, and I was the only one in the class with a ‘date.’ My whole class (all 6 of us) sat at the table with her.
I am a former classmate of Mimi’s at Marion High School, and am so sorry to hear of Mimi’s passing. It is hard to lose someone but especially during the holiday season. Take comfort in knowing that God’s loving arms are wrapped around you, and family and friends are lifting you in prayer. My prayers are with the family during this sad time.
Dear Family,
I am a former classmate of Mimi’s at Marion High School, class of 1967. I remember her as friendly and quick with a smile. We had several classes together before she transferred from us. I particularly remember Mimi’s sitting next to me in Latin I or II and Sealy Cross sat in front of me. We survived the infamous Miss Alley! I am so sorry for your loss and I know Mimi will be missed by many. May our Lord and Savior comfort and strength you and give you peace.
I am so very sorry to hear about Mimi. Bless her heart, she died too young! Jackie, please know I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all,
With great sorrow to learn of the loss of Mimi. I was a classmate every year until she went off to school. She was always ‘Little Mimi’ to some of us because of her birthday and I think she was the youngest in our class. Gone too soon!
We have just learned that Mimi has left us. My Mimi Cook and I would have certainly been at the funeral if we had known. We can find some comfort in knowing that she is with Kenny now. I am so sad for all of you and wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We send you our love,
Mimi, Kendall and Molly Cook Steel
