May you remember always
that, for every sorrow,
there is comfort…
for every sadness,
there is healing…

Howard, I was sorry to hear of your mother and your father’s passing. They were always special to us Davidsons. We used to see your Dad up at Pisgah Manor when we’d go to see Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Deana Davidson Warren
Aunt Mary had just told Judy and me that she wished she would just go quickly….no pain for her family…and for herself. I truly hope her wish was granted. You all are in our prayers. Hopefully, we’ll see you Saturday.
Sending our love, Mike and Rosemary
Howard, I read of your mother’s death in paper. I am so sorry. I saw your father’s death was recent also. They had long full lives and that is comforting. They were so proud of you and rightfully so. I taught you in 9th English, I think, Enka High-Was Mrs. Cox then. Live in S.C. and retired after 37 years.
I send my sympathy and love to you and your family.

A True Blessing To All That Came In Her Life.
Howard,
What special people your Mom & Dad were. They were always so kind and loving when we visited during our childhood. Those memories never fade.
May God Bless you and your family.

To the Roe Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. To lose both Mary and Bruce so close together is very sad. I hold them both dear to my heart.

Dear Howard & Family,
Just returned home today after a week long trip, and discovered your Mother had died. She tickeld me with her marvelous wit as she matured in years, and that wonderful smile of hers will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful example of a christian woman to so many of us at Francis Asbury. Your Dad taught my son, Lynn, how to usher. He was always so great to the children, what a sense of humor he had. We were very fortunate to have had them in our lives. Peace be with you and your family during your loss. Veronica
Mrs. Roe was my second grade teacher at Sand Hill in 1950-51. She inspired in me as a second grader that ‘Character’ is an special trait. Thank you Mrs Roe for your gift. You are loved by many students like me.
